The DR32 Basketball Club of Lemont was started in 2018 by Coach Sam Rizzo, who is also the Owner and General Manager of All-American Basketball Academy. The goal was to utilize the expertise of AABA's best selling basketball programs in the area and use more experienced coaching (no volunteer coaches). We also instill in players the mindest of "GO THE EXTRA MILE" in all we do both on and off the court.
With that in mind, each season, the players of the DR32 Basketball Club receive a high-level basketball experience and work together with everyone in the club to help local charities. We do this to honor the memory of our club namesake, a beloved life-long Lemont resident by the name of Danny Rizzo.
Danny, who was also a member of the 2016 Lemont High School state championship team, was known by many for his mindset of always going the extra mile to help those in need. Danny wore #32, and to honor his memory to teach high-level basketball and help kids understand the value of helping others in need, by going the extra mile, the DR32 Basketball Club of Lemont was born. What are the top things that set us apart for other local clubs?
Our trial workouts are setup with team coaches using a small group workout format, which we feel best allows us to evaluate players. We offer kids a position on either a full-time team, or a program called our Pathway Team which allows those with less skill to work their way onto a full-time team. These workouts will be held starting the week of August 25. We will work with you to set up small groups until all of teams are full (we may have multiple teams per grade level). CONTACT US TODAY!
